What is Dry Eye?

This is a condition where tears don’t function as they should do – the normal function of tears is to keep the surface of the eyes wet & lubricated.


What can Cause Dry Eyes?

  • The eyes are not producing sufficient tears

  • The tears produced are of a poor quality

  • The tears evaporate faster than they should


What are the symptoms?

  • “Tired” eyes

  • Eye pain sensation

  • Blurring of vision

  • Light sensitivity

  • Gritty eye sensation

  • Dryness

  • Contact lens discomfort

  • Excessive watering

  • Irritation from wind/smoke

  • Redness
